Wicked Wine Run - Lost Oak Winery
The Wicked Wine Run takes place at the Lost Oak Winery in Burleson, Texas. This venue is known for its hand-crafted wines produced from a vineyard established by a winemaker trained in Alsace, France. The event features two primary distances and an option to participate in both:
- 5 km
- 1 km
Participants in the 5 km run start in waves based on pace and receive a wine glass filled with wine upon crossing the finish line. The course includes two water stations. Those participating in the 1 km tasting walk enjoy a relaxed pace with three sampling stations located along the route, plus a fourth wine tasting at the finish line.
Registration includes an event shirt and a race bib. Participants in the 5 km or the combined challenge also receive a finisher medal. All attendees must be at least 21 years of age, and identification is verified during the packet pickup process. There is no packet pickup available on the day of the event.
The venue hosts an after-party featuring a DJ, food trucks, and various games. Organizers hold dance and costume contests where participants can win different prizes. Spectators are permitted to attend and may purchase tasting-only tickets on-site, which include an etched wine glass and access to the festivities.
