The Wicked Wine Run takes place at Lost Oak Winery in Burleson, Texas, near Dallas-Fort Worth. Lost Oak Winery is known for its hand-crafted Texas wines. The event date is September 26, 2026.
Courses
Two courses are available:
- A 5K run.
- A 1K walk.
What's Included
For participants in the 5K, tickets include an event bib, a finisher medal, and a commemorative event shirt. A full glass of wine is provided at the finish line.
For participants in the 1K walk, tickets include an event bib and the commemorative event shirt. Four separate one-ounce wine tastings are included, with three along the course and a fourth at the finish line served in a souvenir wine glass.
All participants have access to an after-party at the venue.
Event Day
Gates open at midday. The 5K run starts in the afternoon, with participants having 90 minutes to complete the course. The 1K walk begins later in the afternoon. The event concludes in the evening.
On-site activities include music, games, and food trucks. There is also a dance contest and a costume contest. Spectator passes are available for purchase on-site, which include a wine glass and a bracelet for purchasing wine.
Logistics
Packet pickup is not available on event day. Participants must collect their packets on one of three designated days prior to the event at The Runner Shop in Pantego, Texas.
Parking at the venue costs $20 per vehicle. A parking pass must be purchased in advance during packet pickup or will be mailed separately for those who had packets shipped.
All participants and spectators must be 21 years of age or older. Age verification with a valid ID is required. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
