St. Patrick-Themed Running Event in Fort Worth
The Time to Paddy 5k/10k & Lucky 13.1 is an annual themed running event taking place in Fort Worth, Texas. The event features multiple distance options starting and finishing at The Shack Panther Parking Lot. Participants can choose between several road race distances or join a specific event designed for children.
The event offers the following race distances:
- Half Marathon (Lucky 13.1)
- 10k
- 5k
- 1 Mile (untimed)
- Kid's Dash (untimed, for ages 10 and under)
Registration for the 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon includes chip-timing with live results, a designer shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. The 1 Mile event and the Kid's Dash are untimed participation events that also provide shirts and medals to registered runners. Awards are presented for the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in various age brackets ranging from 10 and under to 80 and over.
The race site includes a post-race area with snacks and a "biggest team" contest. For those unable to attend the physical location, a virtual race option is available, allowing participants to complete their chosen distance independently and receive the event memorabilia by mail.
