Heatwave Half Marathon - Colorado Springs
This event takes place on July 12, 2026 at Goose Gossage Park in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Multiple race options are offered for participants of different ages and preferences, including an in-person and a virtual option.
Race options include:
- Kids Dash, 50 m, ages 10 and under
- 1 Mile, untimed
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon, 13.1 Miles
- Half Marathon Relay, team entries
- Volunteer Then Run, volunteer then run any distance
- Virtual Race, run any day at chosen location
- Running Buddy Half Marathon, requires prior approval
Registration for most in-person events includes a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal. Chip timing with live results and awards is provided for the timed distances. Event photography is available and free. Ice cream is provided at the finish for on-site participants. Youth pricing applies for ages 12 and under at a reduced fee.
Relay entries require each team member to register individually and then form a team. Virtual registrants receive a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and packet shipping; virtual packets are mailed the Wednesday after the event and times can be uploaded starting the event date.
