Multisport Competition in Colorado Springs
The Rocky Mountain State Games - Swim / Run event takes place in Colorado Springs. Organized by the Colorado Springs Sport Corp in partnership with Tri Fit Company LLC, this competition offers age-specific distances for youth and adult participants. The event is USA Triathlon (USAT) sanctioned, and all athletes are required to have a USA Triathlon membership, which is available during the registration process.

Participants can choose from three distinct distance categories based on their age group:
- Ages 5-8: 100m pool swim followed by a 1/2 mile run.
- Ages 9-15: 200m pool swim followed by a 1 mile run.
- Ages 16+: 750m pool swim followed by a 5k run.
