Tillys Memorial Race

Tillys Memorial Race is a community running event on Sunday 8 November 2026 at Ayr Esplanade, Ayr, held to remember Tilly and to raise awareness of DIPG. The day brings people together for short distance running and family participation, with refreshments provided afterwards at PIV.

Race options include a short adult route, a longer adult route, and a dedicated children’s race. Participants may aim for a personal best, run at their own pace, or take part in costume; the event is presented as welcoming for a range of approaches to the day.

Event organisers worked with Police Scotland (Ayr) and Cash for Kids in arranging the event.
