Tillamook Burn Trail Run
The Tillamook Burn Trail Run is a spring weekend of trail races held at Reehers Camp in the Tillamook State Forest, roughly halfway between Portland and the Oregon Coast. The event includes a 50 mile race, a 55K race and a back to back double option that pairs the 50 mile on Saturday with the 55K on Sunday.
The 50 mile course is a point to point route that crosses the Oregon Coast Range from west to east. The route includes about 42 miles of singletrack and 8 miles of forest road, approximately 9,000 feet of ascent and 8,400 feet of descent, seven aid stations and a 14 hour overall time limit.
The 55K is a lollipop loop run mostly on singletrack across the mountain divide. The published figures are roughly 35 miles with 6,900 feet of ascent and 6,900 feet of descent, five full aid stations and a 10 hour time limit.
Event staging is at Reehers Camp where parking, bib pickup and finish line services are located. Parking is day use only with one vehicle per participant; overnight camping and RV parking at Reehers Camp are restricted to race officials, sponsors and volunteers. A shuttle bus to the 50 mile start requires a separate $12 pass. The event provides marked courses, aid stations, chip timing, medical support and a post race meal for participants.
Registration closes May 10, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
