Tillamook Burn Trail Run
The Tillamook Burn Trail Run is a two-day spring trail event on May 16 and 17, 2026, held at Reehers Camp in the Tillamook State Forest in northwestern Oregon, roughly midway between Portland and the Oregon coast. The event offers organized races on forest single-track trails through second-growth stands that include standing snags and charred stumps remaining from historic wildfires.
Distances offered:
- 50 miles
- 55K
- 50M/55K double over two days
The course features varied mountain terrain with waterfalls, stream crossings and dense spring foliage. Event staging at Reehers Camp includes parking, a marked course, chip timing, live finish-line results, staffed aid stations, professional medical support, radio communications, a post-race meal and beverages, custom finisher awards and event photography. A shuttle bus option is available for 50 mile runners for a separate fee.
Registration is tiered by date with published fees for each race and a separate processing fee applies. Organizers reserve a limited number of entries for professional athletes and set conditions for elite entry requests. Parking at Reehers Camp is day-use only; one vehicle per participant is allowed and camping there is restricted to officials, sponsors and volunteers. A portion of event proceeds will be donated to regional trail and forest recreation funds.
The event includes volunteer opportunities and periodic trail work parties in the months leading up to race weekend, and the organizers acknowledge the traditional lands of the Tillamook, Clatskanie and Atfalati Kalapuya peoples. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
