Tigger Tor is a fell race held on 25 January 2026 from a base at Fox House, Longshaw, Sheffield S11 7TY. The course is approximately 14.2 km (8.8 miles) with about 490 m (1,610 ft) of climb. The race is classified as an FRA category BM event and has a minimum age of 18. Entry is online pre-entry only and entries are limited (350 places noted). The event has FRA permit/insurance.

Course, kit and logistics

The route starts and finishes on Houndkirk Road and is entirely on off-road tracks and fell. Competitors must visit 12 checkpoints in numerical order via an unmarked route across Houndkirk Moor, Burbage Moor and Hathersage Moor. A short mandatory road section is used at the start. Electronic navigation devices are not permitted for navigational use; runners must carry a printed map and compass. FRA minimum kit is mandatory and will be checked at registration and may be spot-checked at the finish. Required items include a hat, gloves, printed map of the course, whistle, emergency food, waterproof whole body cover with taped seams and attached hood, and a navigation compass. Facilities listed include limited parking, toilets, food and a bar; water is provided but single-use cups are not supplied so runners are asked to bring a reusable bottle. Prizes are awarded for top finishers by gender, the first Totley runner, first team (first three from the same club) and in standard age categories.
