Hardwick 10k
The Hardwick 10k takes place on 16 July 2026 and is being held for its 40th edition. The course is an out and back route that includes a long climb to Hardwick Hall with marshals at the 5k turnaround, a steep downhill toward the Hardwick Inn, a climb up Tibshelf Road and a final downhill 1 km into Pilsley village. The distance is 10 km.
Part of the entry fee is donated to Edale Mountain Rescue. Results are published on the race website. The event is organised under ARC rules with permit ARC/26/0350 and total places are limited to 650.
Online entry fees are listed as £20 for UKA/ARC affiliated club runners and £22 for unaffiliated runners. The closing date for online entries is 30 June 2026 and there will be no entries on the day. Entry fees are not refundable.
Registration is at the Elm Centre adjacent to Pilsley Primary School. Race numbers are allocated by email a few days before the race and are collected at registration. Chip timing will be used and all competitors receive an ID tag at registration. Facilities include toilets and showers at the Elm Centre and St Marys Church Hall, changing facilities, water at the start and finish and on the route, and additional refreshments for spectators.
