Tiger Claw

Tiger Claw is a trail running event on Tiger Mountain near Issaquah, held May 8 and 9, 2026. The event offers multiple race formats, including 50k, The Ascent, Big Cat, and The Ambush. It is presented by Rabbit.

The course uses three separate summit routes on the mountain’s west peaks. Runners may choose the order in which they complete those ascents. To earn an official Tiger Claw finisher designation, a participant must complete all three loops within the allotted time cutoff.

The terrain is described as technical, with steep climbs and descents under a canopy of fir and moss. The organizer warns that this should not be a first trail race and notes that trail conditions, technical terrain, and weather will affect the experience. Participants are expected to be self sufficient for hours at a time and to have prior trail running or ultrarunning experience.

The event acknowledges that it takes place on the original homelands of the Duwamish and Coast Salish people. The start and finish location has approval to be held in the town of Issaquah at the Community Center. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
