Tempe Tie Dye Run
The Arizona Burn Foundation hosts the third annual Tempe Tie Dye Run at Kiwanis Park in Tempe, Arizona. The event raises funds to support burn survivors and their families and is managed by StartLine Racing. It is described as family and pet friendly and open to all ages and fitness levels.
Distances offered include:
- 10K Run/Walk
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1K Fun Run
- Virtual runner option for US addresses only
Participants receive a custom event medal and a custom cotton short sleeve shirt unless they select the no shirt option for a reduced fee. Male and female age group awards are given to the top three finishers in each age group for the 10K and 5K. Timing is chip based with real time results and event photos available online and via mobile apps. Pre and post event refreshments are provided including granola bars, fruit, water and sports drink.
Registration methods include online, mail-in, on-site race day registration and virtual registration. Packet pick-up is available the day before at Road Runner Sports in Tempe and on race day at Kiwanis Park. The course maps are published and courses may be changed if deemed unsafe on event day. Walkers, wheelchairs, strollers and wagons are permitted. Roller blades, bicycles, skateboards and motorized devices are not allowed.
