Tibthorpe Loop
The Tibthorpe Loop is a circular trail half marathon through the Yorkshire Wolds. The route covers approximately 14 miles with around 1,200 ft of climb and is described as undulating but not technical. The event is the third edition and is scheduled for 20/02/2027 with entry prices starting from £19 and a maximum field of 300 runners.
The course starts and finishes at Field House Camping & Coffee Barn near Tibthorpe. The venue provides free parking, indoor cycle parking, indoor toilets, outdoor eco friendly toilets, and food and drink for purchase. Camping is available separately and a discount for this event is offered by the campsite.
Organisers provide a GPX file and route signage consisting of yellow tape and large yellow correx signs at key junctions; these markers may be moved or damaged and familiarisation with the route is advised. There is one checkpoint at roughly the halfway point offering vegan friendly and gluten free food and drink. The overall cut off is five hours and there are no enforced checkpoint cut off times.
Finishers receive a plantable wildflower seed medal made from recycled materials and one tree will be planted to mark each finish. Chip timing, a downloadable certificate, free event photography downloads, medical cover, a preloved clothing collection, and charity donations from the entry fee are included. The event is open to those aged 18 or over and dogs are not permitted on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
