Event overview
The Tibthorpe Loop is a trail half marathon on Saturday 28 February 2026 through the Yorkshire Wolds. The route is described as easy to navigate, undulating but not technical, and it follows the first nine miles of the Wold Rangers Way Ultra. The event has an overall cut-off of five hours and one checkpoint approximately halfway around. The minimum age is 18 and dogs are not allowed on the course.
The event is organised by Ultra Trails and is limited to 300 entries. Entry fees listed are £17 (affiliated) and £19 (non-affiliated). The entry list showed 176 participants at the time of publishing.
Facilities and logistics
The start and finish are at Field House Camping & Coffee Barn, Field House Farm, Tibthorpe, Driffield, YO25 9JZ. Free parking and indoor cycle parking are available at the venue. Toilets, food and drink (available to purchase), eco-friendly toilets and sanitary products are provided at registration. Camping and discounted camping rates are offered at the venue.
Support includes chip timing, first aid cover, event photography, and recycling collection points at registration. The organiser provides a GPX route and will add route markings and large yellow signs at key junctions. Checkpoint food and drink is vegan friendly and gluten free.
