Tibberton Trot 10k
The Tibberton Trot is a 10 km multi-terrain race. It first took place in 2019 and is a partnership between Newport & District Running Club and the local community in Tibberton, a small village in Shropshire.
The race takes place each year in September. The start and finish are on the playing fields next to Tibberton School, which contributes to a village fête atmosphere. The anti-clockwise course features mixed terrain with approximately 50 m of elevation change. Before the main race, a junior 1 km fun run is also held.
The local community shop and village hall offer cooked food, such as bacon baps, for purchase on the day. Special prizes are awarded to the fastest male and female runners who are residents of Tibberton. Funds raised from the race are returned to community causes.
