Event

The Tibberton Trot is a 10k multi-terrain race organised by Newport & District Running Club in the village of Tibberton, just off the B5032 in the Telford and Wrekin borough of Shropshire. The race debuted in 2019 and returned in 2022 after a Covid pause in 2020 and 2021.

Course and races

The course runs anti-clockwise and includes mixed terrain with about 50 m of elevation gain and loss. The start and finish are on the playing fields next to Tibberton School.

Timing and editions

The event takes place each September. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Sunday 13 September.

Community and prizes

Local facilities such as the community shop and village hall provide cooked food for purchase on race day. Funds raised from the race are returned to causes that benefit the local community.
