Tiadaghton Race & Ruck March
The Tiadaghton event combines the 55th Annual Tiadaghton 5K/10K Race with the 10th Annual Tiadaghton Ruck March. It is held at the Jersey Shore Little League Complex, 576 Thompson Street, Jersey Shore, PA 17740. The event supports the Jersey Shore Branch YMCA Annual Campaign to provide scholarships for memberships and programs and to fund free opportunities for youth, veterans, and seniors.
The program includes multiple course options:
- 10k Ruck March: 6.2 Miles
- 10k Run: 6.2 Miles
- 5k Run / Walk: 3.1 Miles
Registration fees for the runs are $30 per person if registered by June 7 and $40 per person after June 7. The 10k Ruck March is free to participate. Registrations on or before June 7 include a free race t-shirt. Registration for the runs closes June 7; registration for the ruck march closes June 23.
The ruck march is presented in solidarity with veterans and is associated with awareness efforts for PTSD and suicide prevention. Awards are given for the 10k Run and the 5k Run: top male and female overall receive a trophy, and top male and female in each age group receive a medal.
