Icicles On The Moon Trail Run
The event takes place on December 19, 2026 at Zindel Park in McElhattan, PA. Two course options are offered.

Participants must wear a headlamp and be prepared for winter conditions. The race uses local trails around the reservoir and the Zindel Park caretaker house as a reference point.
The 7 mile course starts at the Zindel house, goes up the road to the reservoir, crosses a metal foot bridge, follows Final Cut to Gut Check, climbs Gut Check to the top, turns left onto Outer Limits, follows Outer Limits out to Pine Loganton Road, and includes an aid station at the parking lot. Runners then descend Spring Run, cross five streams, continue on the Gorge Trail to Black Diamond, and finish via the Creekside Trail.
The 5K follows the same start as the 7 mile until the top of Gut Check. It stays on Gut Check, crosses the bridge over McElhattan Run, proceeds to the Gorge Trail, continues down to Black Diamond, and finishes on Creekside.
Entry is open to the first 250 runners, hikers, or walkers. There are no refunds, no deferrals, and no exceptions. Registration for 2026 opens July 19, 2026 via Ultrasignup. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
