Piedmont Mountainside Thrive 5K for Breast Cancer
Piedmont Mountainside Thrive 5K for Breast Cancer takes place in Jasper, Georgia on April 11, 2026. The event includes a community 5k to walk, jog, or run and a virtual walker shirt option. It is presented by Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers Jasper and benefits Piedmont Mountainside hospital programs.
Proceeds will support breast cancer initiatives and services at Piedmont Mountainside, including pre and post treatment patient education, lymphedema prevention, and programming for high risk breast cancer patients. The hospital is a 76 bed not for profit facility in the foothills of north Georgia and provides 24 hour emergency services, intensive care, and a range of medical, surgical and diagnostic services.
Registration options include Race Entry plus shirt for $35 and Shirt Only for $25. Participants age 12 and older must register to take part; children under 12 may attend at no cost. Shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations completed by March 27, 2026. Online registration closes on April 9, 2026, and walk up registration will be available at the event.
The event runs rain or shine. For safety participants are asked to stay on sidewalks or crosswalks and to watch for cars; an alternate path may be used if an air ambulance needs to land.
