Event details
The Three Sisters Ultra Festival is a timed trail event held in the Maryville College Woods in Maryville, TN. The festival offers multiple timed formats: 24-hour, 12-hour, and 6-hour events, with relays available. The 6-hour and 12-hour options are offered in both day and night versions. The course is a 2-mile loop that starts and finishes at the McArthur Pavilion on the edge of the woods. Live music and other on-site activities, including a short disc golf opportunity, are part of the event.
Distances based on loop counts:
- 50K - 16 loops
- 100K - 31 loops
- 100 miles - 50 loops
A Double Ultra Festival pairing is offered with a second 24-hour event (Fort Frenzy), with both medals designed to fit a custom frame.
Logistics and race rules
Aid is available every loop at the pavilion area; participants may set up a personal aid area under the pavilion or in the adjacent yard. Access to aid station amenities is limited to registered runners and pacers. Pacers should pick up a pacer bib at packet pickup and wear it while pacing. Packet pickup is available the evening before the race at McArthur Pavilion and on race morning.
Chip timing will be used. Bibs should be worn on the front of the body and not folded to ensure proper chip reads. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
