The Run LoCo Certified Half Marathon and 5K Elf On the Run takes place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Tellico Lake Canal Day Use Area, 201 Simpson Road, Lenoir City, TN 37771. The event includes the following distances:

- 5K
The half marathon is a USATF certified out-and-back course (certification TN23024MS). The course features views of the Tennessee River, downtown Lenoir City and the Greenway. The 5K uses the half marathon course with a turnaround at 1.55 miles.
Logistics, rules and benefits
Packet pick up is at the Loudon County Education Foundation / News-Herald Office, 201 Simpson Road, Lenoir City, TN, on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Participants receive a swag bag and a Run LoCo hoodie at registration; finishers receive a finisher medal. Registrations by October 20 guarantee swag for the half marathon; registrations by October 15 guarantee swag for the 5K.
Minimum ages are 6 for the 5K and 13 for the half marathon. The course will be marked and some sections coned; certain lanes will be closed to traffic. No dogs, vehicles to transport children, baby carriers, bicycles, in-line skates or skateboards are allowed on the course. Entry fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.
