Run LoCo Certified Half Marathon

Event Overview
The Run LoCo Certified Half Marathon and 5K Elf on the Run take place in Lenoir City, Tennessee. The event utilizes the Tellico Lake Canal Day Use Area for the start and finish lines of both races. Participants park at the Tellico Canal Dam Day Use Area and return to their vehicles upon completing the course.
The following distances are available:
- 13.1 miles (Half Marathon)
- 3.1 miles (5K)
The half marathon is a certified out and back course. It features views of the Tennessee River, Downtown Lenoir City, and the local Greenway. The 5K, titled the Elf on the Run, follows the same path as the half marathon, with runners turning around at the 1.55 mile mark to return to the finish line.
Participants receive a swag bag at registration that includes a hoodie and a finisher medal upon completion of their race. For the 5K event, participants are encouraged to wear costumes inspired by the holiday elf character. These races support the mission of the Loudon County Education Foundation.
