Charity, registration and logistics

The event benefits Thrive To Survive. The organizer states that 100% of donations and proceeds go to Thrive To Survive to support adults living with cancer in Ontario, Seneca, Yates, and Wayne counties. Thrive To Survive provides programs at no cost to survivors, including emotional support, wellness programs, comfort care packages at oncology offices, financial assistance, meals, and other services. A check-in party is scheduled the evening before in the Community Room at the Finger Lakes Welcome Center, 35 Lakefront Dr., with local breweries and wineries offering tastings and local vendors present. Parking is available in downtown Geneva within walking distance of the start/finish area, and the Lake Tunnel is provided to cross under Routes 5 and 20.
