Thoreau School Road Race
The Thoreau School Road Race takes place on May 17, 2026, with start and finish in front of Thoreau Elementary School, 29 Prairie Street, Concord, MA 01742. Parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood, with limited parking at the school.
Event distances include:
- 5k (3.1 miles) All ages
- Kids Run (~0.8 miles)
An awards ceremony will take place after the races. All proceeds benefit Thoreau Elementary School.
Registration opens March 17, 2026 and closes May 16, 2026. Fees listed by the organizer are $30.00 for the 5k and $15.00 for the Kids Run. Registration is available on race morning at an increased fee.
Participants who pre register before May 1 will receive a Thoreau School Road Race T shirt. Shirt availability and sizes are not guaranteed for registrations after May 1. Early packet pickup is available on May 15; packets may also be picked up on race morning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
