This is How We Roll 2026
This is the seventh annual Spinal Cord Injury awareness and fundraising event held at Carolinas Rehabilitation Charlotte, 1100 Blythe Boulevard, Charlotte, NC, on September 26, 2026. The event centers on a 1 mile roll/walk/run and supports the SCI Fund.
The course uses the Greenway adjacent to the rehabilitation campus. On the day there will be catering, music, prizes, community activities, and vendors. Every registered participant will receive a meal voucher for a catered lunch. Organizers aim to provide T shirts for participants; T shirt size is guaranteed only for registrations completed by 2026-08-21.
Parking information is provided for different visitor needs: wheelchair users are directed to the Orange Lot and ambulatory visitors to the Blue Deck. Attendees may unload at the Carolinas Rehab building before parking in the further lots.
Fundraising details are noted on the event page: the listed goal is $25,000 and the amount shown as raised is $107.14. Atrium Health Foundation is listed as a fundraising organization for the event. Local Charlotte businesses have donated vouchers, gift cards, and services to be awarded to participants. Examples of how funds have been used by the SCI Fund include purchases such as a bariatric power wheelchair for outings, a Companion power assist device to trial on manual wheelchairs, adaptive equipment for patients, and funding for community outings.
