Huntersville Half - December 11 to 12, 2026, Huntersville NC
The Huntersville Half is a weekend of road races held at 16620 Cranlyn Rd, Huntersville, NC. The schedule spans two days in December 2026 and includes a Holiday 5K on the first day and a Half Marathon and 10K on the second day. The event also offers combined distance challenges and virtual options.
Race features include cash prizes totaling $1500 presented by Fleet Feet Sports Huntersville, with overall awards for the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K plus age group prizes for first through third place in each age division. Two on-course timed challenges are listed: Hardcore Hill, a timed quarter mile uphill segment, and Sprint to Finish, a timed 100 meter sprint at the final turn.
A Ruck division requires participants to carry a weighted rucksack or backpack with a minimum of 10 lbs for women and 20 lbs for men. All finishers receive a medal. Challenge participants who complete both required distances and are registered in the challenge will receive a challenge medal after verification.
Apparel notes state that Half Marathon registrants who sign up by December 1 are guaranteed a fleece hoodie or long sleeve technical shirt in their requested size; 10K and 5K registrants who register by December 1 are guaranteed an apparel item in the requested size while supplies last. The event maintains a no refund policy. Transfers are allowed with participant-paid fees and a deferment option to the following year is available under organizer approval.
