Huntersville Half
The Huntersville Half takes place on December 11 and 12, 2026, at 16620 Cranlyn Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078, USA. The event weekend includes multiple in-person and virtual race options across two days and a paired-night 5K.

Prizes and course features include $1,500 in cash prizes presented by Fleet Feet Sports Huntersville with payouts for overall male and female finishers in the Half, 10K, and 5K plus age group awards. Two timed on-course challenges are listed: Hardcore Hill, a timed quarter mile uphill segment, and Sprint to Finish, a timed 100 meter sprint near the final turn.
Ruck division requires a weighted pack with minimums of 10 pounds for women and 20 pounds for men. All finishers receive a medal; challenge runners who complete both distances and are registered as challenge participants receive a challenge medal after verification.
Apparel and registration notes: Half Marathon registrants who register by December 1 are guaranteed a fleece hoodie or long sleeve technical shirt in their requested size; 10K and 5K registrants who register by December 1 are guaranteed specific shirts as described. Registration fees vary by event and by date. There is a no refund policy. Transfers between runners and between events are allowed with participant-paid fees and online transfer options available through December 1. Deferred entries to the next year may be approved by the organizers with restrictions and a future $10 fee.
