About the race
The Huntersville Half is a weekend running event in Huntersville, North Carolina, held December 11–12, 2026 at 16620 Cranlyn Rd. The event program includes multiple race options and virtual entries, plus special divisions and on-course timed segments.

Prizes and awards include a $1500 cash prize pool presented by Fleet Feet Sports Huntersville, with specified payouts for overall male and female top finishers in the half, 10K, and 5K, plus age group awards for first through third place. Two timed on-course segments are listed: Hardcore Hill (a timed quarter mile uphill) and Sprint to Finish (a timed 100 meter sprint at the last turn). All finishers receive a medal; registered challenge participants receive a separate challenge medal after verification of completion of both distances.
Apparel and packet details are specified by deadline: half marathon registrants who sign up by December 1 are guaranteed a fleece hoodie or long sleeve technical shirt in requested size; similar size guarantees apply for 10K and 5K registrants by that date while supplies last.
