Night Owl 5K - Anne Springs Close Greenway
Night Owl 5K on Friday, December 11, 2026 is a nighttime trail event held at Anne Springs Close Greenway. The course starts and finishes at the Lake Haigler entrance. Participants and spectators may order food and drinks from the Greenway Canteen and shop at the visitor center.
The event includes multiple participation options:
- 5K race (timed) on Greenway trails at night.
- Hike Challenge same 5K course at night, untimed.
- One mile Fun Run/Walk untimed; participants receive a finisher’s prize.
Awards apply only to the 5K race. Age groups for awards are 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Prizes are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three male and female in each age group. Race swag for 2026 is noted as forthcoming.
Registration is non-refundable unless the optional refund protection plan was purchased. Transfers more than two weeks before the event may be allowed at the discretion of the Race Director. Events proceed in rain or shine unless severe weather forces cancellation; refunds are not provided for cancellations unless the refund protection plan was purchased.
