Punk Panther Harrogate Hustle

Punk Panther Harrogate Hustle is a trail event around Harrogate and Knaresborough. The route encircles the spa town at a radius of about 3–4 miles, mainly on country paths and passing through Nidd Gorge. The ultramarathon route also includes sections of the Knaresborough Round.

There are three distances on offer, with recorded climb figures:

• 14.3 miles - 1105 ft climb
• 20.3 miles - 2046 ft climb
• 34.3 miles - 2468 ft climb

Checkpoints on the courses provide water, coke, energy bars & crisps and include vegan and gluten free snack options. All ultramarathon entrants receive a tracker; trail entrants may hire a tracker for a fee. Trackers display position on the event tracker and include an emergency button that, if pressed while in range, ends the competitor's race.

Organisers supply provisional GPX files and a route description; the final route and instructions are emailed to competitors before the event. Routes are taped, flagged, or signed in advance but participants are advised not to rely solely on tape for navigation. There is a mandatory kit list that applies to all distances; a head torch is specifically required for the 34.3 mile course. Arrivals at checkpoints after closure will be retired from the race.

Minimum age is 18 and the event limits entries to 200. Registration takes place at Pannal Village Hall and the finish is at the village hall, where finishers receive a medal and an event T shirt unless they opt out.
