Thin Mint Sprint 5K and Daisy Dash 1 Mile Fun Run
Girl Scouts Louisiana East hosts two community running events in Audubon Park in New Orleans at 6500 Magazine St., New Orleans, LA 70118 on April 3, 2027. The event program includes a 5K race and a 1-mile fun run aimed at families, friends, and the general public with an emphasis on fitness and community connection.
Registration opens October 26, 2026 and closes April 1, 2027. The registration fee is $35.00 for each event.

- Thin Mint Sprint : 3.1 Miles
- Daisy Dash : 1 Mile
Both races award medals and special prizes to the top three finishers in each male and female age division. The age divisions are 12 & Under, 13–18, 19–30, 31–50, 51–65, and 65+. Prizes are intended to recognize finishing places while keeping the event focused on community and participation.
Participants are encouraged to fundraise in support of Girl Scouts Louisiana East. Fundraising proceeds help expand access to leadership development, outdoor programs, STEM and DreamLab programming, and council camp experiences. The highest fundraising team receives a $150 gift card plus cookies for each team member. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
