The Wirral Summer Trail Series - Jun
The Wirral Summer Trail Series is a set of five monthly races held at Wirral Country Park Centre, Visitor Centre, Station Road, CH61 0HN, United Kingdom. The series takes place on the third Tuesday of each month from April through August, with dates in 2026 including 21 April, 19 May, 16 June, 14 July and 18 August.
Each race uses the same course and the distance is approximately 8K. The competition is open to runners aged 16 or over, with ages recorded as at the date of the first race. Trophies are awarded for the series overall and there are individual awards based on each competitor's best positions in four of the five races. In the event of equal points, the award goes to the highest finisher in the fifth race or the fourth race if neither athlete competes in the final race. There are age category awards for female and male competitors and overall awards for the top three females and males.
Entry is online through Nifty Entries at £16 per athlete per race or £64 for the full five-race series. Entries are taken prior to each event and may be placed up to 30 minutes before the race. Monies raised beyond expenses support trophies, medals and spot prizes, with proceeds to RUNNING HEADFIRST.
