Race for Life Liverpool - Aintree
Race for Life at Aintree Racecourse takes place on Sunday 14 June 2026. The event is for participants aged 16 and over. Entry fees listed are £17.49 with a children price of £11.00 and a minimum fundraising target of £50.00. The 10k event is chip timed. The course starts on a tarmac path and finishes on grass. Surfaces on route include tarmac, grass and sand. The start and finish are located within the centre of the racecourse and the published course map may be subject to change.
Transport access includes event parking at the main entrance via Grand National Avenue off Ormskirk Road A59, with a number of blue badge parking spaces available at the main entrance. Aintree Metro station is approximately a five minute walk from the venue. Bus services to Aintree include 300, 311, 345, 350 and 351, and route 61A serves Bootle New Strand.
The route has been assessed as not wheelchair accessible due to the terrain. Sunflower wristbands and on site staff trained as Dementia Friends are available, and a QR code will provide British Sign Language stage content.
