Run to the Castle Ultra
Run to the Castle offers two point to point distances departing from the coastal village of Aberdyfi / Aberdovey and following the coastal path north to Barmouth and Harlech. The course combines sections of beach, tracks, and pavements and is waymarked throughout. The entry fee includes a fully recced course, food and drinks at four separate checkpoints, and a finishers medal. Results are published online after the race. The organiser will transport one bag per runner from the start to the finish area.

- Marathon from Aberdyfi to Barmouth
The event is point to point; the start is about 200 yards from the Aberdovey / Aberdyfi train station and main car park, and Harlech station lies about 200 yards from the finish. Trains on the connecting line run roughly every 90 to 120 minutes. A 12 hour time limit applies to the race.
Compulsory kit must be carried by each entrant and includes a rucksack with a bladder or bottle holding at least 1 litre of water, emergency food, a fully charged mobile phone, waterproof jacket, whistle, map of the route, compass, and a first aid kit.
