The Winter Railway Ultra takes place on 21 February 2026 on the old railway line behind The Woodbridge Pub, Coalport, Telford, TF8 7JF. The route runs along the banks of the River Severn between Ironbridge and Bridgnorth on a disused railway line. The course uses out-and-back laps of 9.4 miles and includes a well-stocked aid station every 4.7 miles. The event has a 7 hour cut off and an aggregate rating of 4.9 from 6 reviews.

Practical information
Entry prices range from £28 to £42. Specific listed fees are £28 for the 9 Mile, £35 for the Half Marathon, £36 for the 3/4 Marathon, £40 for the 28 Mile, and £42 for the 37 Mile. Age minimums: the 9 Mile and Half Marathon are open to entrants aged 17 and over on the event date; the 19, 28 and 37 Mile options are open to entrants aged 18 and over. Race headquarters is at TF8 7JF behind The Woodbridge Public House. Parking is a 10 minute walk away at the Coalport China Museum and Coalport YHA (charges apply).
