The Wales Swimrun
The Wales Swimrun is a swimrun event held along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path inside the United Kingdom's only coastal national park. The route passes craggy coastal coves and blue flag beaches and uses a mixture of open water swims and coastal running trails. The event is ENVOL endorsed and offers both solo and team entry options.
Distances offered include:
- Full distance: Swim 7K / Run 26K, solo or team slots
- Sprint: Swim 4.7K / Run 14K, solo or team slots
Entry pricing is listed from £185 for the full distance and from £135 for the sprint distance. A payment plan option is available. Course files in GPX format are provided for both the full and sprint routes. Event materials referenced for participants include a race pack, published results, and volunteer opportunities.
The route makes repeated transitions between sea swims and coastal running sections, and it follows established coastal paths and beach crossings. Terrain features and surface conditions vary along the coastline. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
