The Village 5K
The Village 5K is a community 5K event held at Al Quaal Recreation Area in Ishpeming, MI. It is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026, with a backup date of May 16, 2026. The event is open to the public and the entire route is stroller friendly.
Registration for the event is open. A $35 registration fee covers participation; registering before April 22 secures an event T-shirt. Participants who register after April 22 will not be guaranteed a T-shirt. All participants must register through the event registration link.
The event aims to promote maternal wellness through outdoor physical activity, to address maternal isolation and build community, and to connect mamas with supportive community resources. It also seeks to raise awareness of maternal mental health disparities and to raise funds for The Living Room - A Place for Mom as an inaugural event.
