About the race
THE VERMUYDEN 10km & 5km takes place on Sunday 18 October 2026 at 7 Lakes Country Park in Crowle (DN17 4BQ). The event is named after Cornelius Vermuyden, the Dutch engineer who reshaped the local landscape centuries ago.
The route runs through Seven Lakes Country Park and is held entirely on closed roads and traffic‑free trails. The organiser describes the course as fast and flowing, passing lakes and autumn woodland with clear morning light. The event offers two distance options and explicit entry prices.
Distances:
- 10 km: entry fee £20
- 5 km: entry fee £15
Entries are available for both distances and the event is organised by Animis Racing Team. The description highlights lakes, woodland and a traffic‑free setting as key features of the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
