The Valentine's 10k, 5k @ Bay Ridge
The event is on February 14, 2026 in Brooklyn, NY at the American Veterans Memorial Pier, Bay Ridge Avenue, 11209. Two race distances are offered:

- 10K
Prices listed on the event page are $48.70 for the 5K and $59.30 for the 10K. Registration closes February 12, 2026. Packet pickup is available on race day for shirts, bibs, and timing tags; a photo ID is required. Parking is available on Shore Parkway. A personal items area is provided and managed by volunteers.
Course, timing and services
The 5K is a one-loop course along the shore. The 10K is two loops of the same course. Start and finish are at the American Veterans Memorial Pier. The course runs south from the start with specified U-turn points (5K U-turn approximately 1.55 miles from the start; 10K U-turns noted at about 1.59 miles and about 0.1 miles from the start). The path has separate lanes for cyclists and pedestrians; headphones are not allowed. Mile markers are placed every mile. Water tables are located at three points on the loop for 2 to 4 opportunities for drinks and gels. Timing uses chip mats each loop with live uploads to the results page.
Awards and extras
Awards are given to the top three overall men and women, then by age group categories including 19 and under, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70+. All finishers receive medals and technical t-shirts. Photos and videos are uploaded after the event and live chip timing and streaming are provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
