The Valentine's 10k

The Valentine's 10K and 5K, Bay Ridge Brooklyn
The event takes place on February 14, 2026 at the American Veterans Memorial Pier in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn (6901 Shore Rd, 11209). It offers two distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
Both races start and finish at the pier and run along the shoreline. The 5K is one loop; the 10K is two loops. U-turn points are described in race materials at approximately 1.55 miles for the 5K and near 1.59 miles and 0.1 mile from the start for the 10K. Mile markers are placed for every mile.
Chip timing is used with timing mats on each loop so runners receive split times that upload live to the event results page. Water tables are located at three points on the loop, providing multiple opportunities for water, electrolyte drinks, and gels; music will be present at those stations.
Packet pick-up opens before the races and requires photo identification; bibs are issued in numerical order. A personal items area is available and managed by volunteers. The path includes separate lanes for cyclists and pedestrians; headphones are not allowed. Parking is available on Shore Parkway.
