The Unicorn New Years Day Run
This running event takes place on New Year's Day, starting and finishing at The Unicorn Inn in Telford. Participants can choose from several distances, including a 5K, 8 miles, a metric marathon (16 miles), and a full marathon.
The course is known as the Ironbridge Loop. All finishers receive a 'lucky dip' medal, and a beer is available after the race. There is no early start option, but there are 6.5 hours of daylight allocated for the event.
