The Unicorn New Years Day Run
The event starts and finishes at The Unicorn Inn in Telford and uses the Ironbridge Loop as its course. Multiple distance options are offered so participants can choose how far to run on that route.

- Metric marathon (16 miles)
- Full marathon
Runners receive a choice of lucky-dip medals after finishing. A post-race beer will be available. No early starts are available for this event, and the organiser notes there are 6.5 hours of daylight on the day.
