The Ultra Bird Trail Races & RUCK Challenge
The event takes place at Pigeon Creek County Park in West Olive, Michigan, using a looped trail that starts and finishes at the Pigeon Creek Ski Lodge. The course is about a 5K loop on well groomed wooded trails with rolling terrain, peak fall color, and roughly 165 ft of elevation gain per loop. Each loop includes one larger steady climb followed by a significant downhill.

- RUCK Challenge: 12 hour, 6 hour, 3 hour
Logistics include on-site parking within walking distance of the start and finish, an aid station at the start/finish, drop bag area, pre-packaged food and hydration, and bathrooms in the lodge. Packet pick-up is held on race day at the Pigeon Creek Lodge. Pacers are allowed in the 12 hour and 6 hour events. 12 hour and 6 hour participants must bring a headlamp.
Ruck Challenge participants are encouraged to carry 10-20 lbs but there is no minimum requirement and weight is self-reported. All ruckers receive an event patch and a finisher medal.
