The Twilight River Run
The Twilight River Run is a night race taking place at Fairbanks Park in Terre Haute, Indiana. The event offers several participation options: a 5k for runners, a 5k for walkers, and a 1 mile run/walk.
Packet pickup is scheduled for race day at the YMCA from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Registration is available on race day.
A unique feature of the event is a high school team competition. Teams must have at least four members, and awards are given for both girls and boys. The four fastest times from each team are used to calculate a cumulative time. The winning school team receives $250 for its running program, and the second-place team wins $100. Team members are also eligible for individual age group awards.
Proceeds from the run fund the WVRR Scholarship Program, which awards two scholarships annually to student athletes from the Wabash Valley. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
