Christmas in the Park
Christmas in the Park is a community road race held at Deming Park. The event offers options for adults and youth and includes a short youth run called the Reindeer Romp.

- 5K run/walk for adults and youth
- 1 mile Reindeer Romp for youth
The event benefits the nonprofit Clothe a Child, with 50% of proceeds designated for that organization. Registration has a stated deadline to receive a participant t-shirt of Sunday, November 30. Packet pick up is scheduled for the morning of the race.
Awards are given for the 5K competition, including overall awards, age group awards, and walker awards. Age group awards are based on five year age divisions. The event notes that participants who register as walkers should not run, so competitive walkers are not disadvantaged.
