Heart Throb 5k
Heart Throb 5k is scheduled for February 13, 2027, at 951 Dresser Drive in Terre Haute, with event activities based at the Vigo County YMCA. This is the 11th annual Valentine's Day run and it benefits the Vigo County YMCA's annual campaign and scholarships for the youth program.
The event distance is 3.1 Miles. Pre-race packet pickup is available on February 12 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the Vigo County YMCA. Race day packet pickup and on-site registration are available from 8:30 am to 9:45 am at the same location, and race day sign-ups are offered.
A supervised child watch is provided for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years from 8:30 am until the race ends. Overall awards include Fastest Couple (based on combined time), top three overall males, and top three overall females. Additional awards are presented to the top two finishers in the following age groups: Male and Female 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
Registration opens September 1, 2026; the listed registration fee is $20. The race director may consider refunds but they are not guaranteed; refunds will not be eligible within two weeks of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
