The Heart Throb 5k takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in Terre Haute, IN (951 Dresser Drive, 47805). It is the 10th annual Valentine's Day run benefiting the Vigo County YMCA annual campaign and scholarships for youth programs. Entry is listed at $20; the price increases after November 30, 2025 at 11:59pm EST. Online registration closes at 11:59pm on Friday the 13th, and race day sign-ups are available.
Logistics and awards
Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, February 13 at the Vigo County YMCA. Race day packet pickup and registration will also take place at the Vigo County YMCA. A child watch is provided for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years during the event. Overall awards include Fastest Couple (calculated by total time of both individuals), Fastest Male (top 3 overall), and Fastest Female (top 3 overall). Age-group awards will be given to the top two in these groups: 14 and under (male and female), 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+ (male and female). The race director may consider refunds before two weeks prior to the event; refunds are not eligible within two weeks of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
