The Trident Trail Races - Jupiter Ridge Natural Area
The Trident Trail Races take place July 25-26, 2026 in Jupiter, Florida, at the Jupiter Ridge Natural Area. The event uses a looped trail on ancient coastal sugar sand dunes and includes multiple race formats on the same course. The dunes are part of a protected 271 acre scrub habitat and include the highest natural point in Palm Beach County at about 44 feet above sea level.
The event offers several loop based options with different distances and formats:
- Ciento Dos - 102 miles, 36 hour single cutoff
- Immolation - 80 miles, 24 hour elimination format
- The Nooner - Half marathon, 13.2 miles, 4 hour cutoff
- Twilight Trident - Night half marathon, 13.2 miles, 4 hour cutoff
- A Series of Unfortunate 5Ks - loops from 3.3 miles up to 33 miles
Terrain is entirely sand, with soft sections, gentle rollers, and steeper dune climbs. Organizers note high heat and humidity in late July and recommend heat preparation. Immolation and Ciento Dos require qualifying races or efforts within the prior 18 months. Ciento Dos allows crewed or uncrewed runners and uses aid stations; crews may set up near the start area. Medical staff and aid stations with ice, water, and chilled food will be provided. Refunds and deferrals follow published deadlines. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
