The Trident Trail Races : Jupiter Ridge Natural Area, July 25–26, 2026
The Trident Trail Races presents multiple timed and untimed race formats on the ancient sugar sand dunes of Jupiter Ridge Natural Area in Jupiter, Florida. The event uses a 3.30-mile out-and-back loop repeated in different combinations and emphasizes running on soft sand and small dune summits that form the highest natural point in Palm Beach County.
Available race options include:
- Half Marathon: out-and-back 3.3-mile loop repeated 4 times (13.2 miles)
- Ciento Dos: 102 miles, 31 loops, 36-hour cutoff
- Immolation: 24-hour elimination format, 80 miles, one 3.3-mile loop per hour
- Series of Unfortunate 5Ks: repeat 3.3-mile loops, finish options from 5k to 33 miles
- Twilight Trident: night half marathon, 4 loops, 13.2 miles
Course notes: the terrain is entirely sand with gentle rollers and steeper dune climbs; surface softness increases effort and contributes to notable cumulative elevation gains (for example, the Nooner half lists more than 1,200 feet total gain). Medical staff and aid stations with ice, water, chilled fruit and fuel are provided. Some races require qualifying performances within the prior 18 months. Ciento Dos allows crewing and uncrewed options. A refund and deferral policy is published with specific deadlines. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
