U.S. Polo Assn. Palm Beaches Marathon : West Palm Beach, Florida
The event program spans a weekend of road races centered in downtown West Palm Beach and along Flagler Drive. The race set includes the following distances and formats:
- Marathon : 26.2 miles (USATF certified, Boston Qualifier)
- Half Marathon : 13.1 miles (walker friendly, two-loop course)
- Marathon Relay : team of 4; legs: 7.9, 4.9, 8.3, 5.1 miles
- 10K : 6.2 miles (recommended finish under 1 hour 30 minutes)
- 5K : 3.1 miles
The courses run through historic neighborhoods, past museums, parks, Manatee Lagoon, and along palm lined waterfront streets. The marathon course is described as flat and is ranked second fastest in Florida. Half and full marathoners share the same two-loop course and pace teams are provided for both races; pace groups run together.
An expo and packet pickup take place at Meyer Amphitheatre, 105 Datura Street. Race packets for the marathon, half marathon, and relay must be collected at the expo; packets for the 5K and 10K are recommended to be picked up at the expo, with limited pickup available on the morning of the Saturday race day.
