The Trail Run at Eagle Mountain Park
The Trail Run is an annual trail event at Eagle Mountain Park on the edge of Fort Worth, presented by Luke's Locker Fort Worth. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026.
The event uses a throwback format with no timing chips or official clocks; participants keep their own time and record it at the finish. Finishers receive a handmade mug and pancakes. Pancakes, hot coffee, and trailside treats are part of the post-run refreshments.

- 5-ish mile trail run
- 2-ish mile hike
- 2-ish mile youth hike led by Girl Scouts Troop 2570
Event features include an event T-shirt by FreeFly, Mount to Coast trail shoe demos on rugged terrain, a sock exchange with Feetures and Luke's Locker, and awards for top finishers. Live music accompanies the post-run gathering.
Packet pick-up is available at Luke's Locker Fort Worth prior to race day. Parking is available on-site with overflow lots nearby; there is one way in and out of the park, so carpooling and arriving early are recommended. There is no water on the course; participants are asked to bring a refillable water bottle and gently used socks for the exchange.
