2026 2nd Chance Run - Fort Worth
The event takes place at the Fort Worth Stockyards on October 17, 2026. Organized by LifeGift, the run honors organ, eye, and tissue donors across 109 Texas counties and raises awareness and funds for donation and transplantation. LifeGift lists a fundraising goal of $20,000 for this event.
Participants may take part in person or virtually. Distance options include:

- Virtual 1 mile
All registrations include a custom event t-shirt and a custom 2nd Chance Run medal. Registrations also include a race bib; 5K registrants receive a timing chip. In-person participants receive a swag bag and entry to the race village. Donor Remembrance yard signs are available at no charge and may be decorated and placed along the course.
Teams are supported; teams with five or more in-person members receive a $2.00 refund per member, with youth members excluded from the discount. Free parking is available in Lots 1 and 2; Lot 3 is designated as the start and finish area and is no parking. Packet pickup is available the day before the run at the Fort Worth LifeGift office.
