The Tour de Humbleton Trail Race takes place on Sunday 28 December 2025 at the Cheviot Centre, Padgepool Place, Wooler, Northumberland, NE71 6BL. The event is organised by Cheviot Trail Events and uses SiEntries for entries. Entry fee is £15.00. Entries open 17 September 2025 and close 27 December 2025. The course will be fully marked and marshals will be positioned at key points. Participants are asked to wear kit appropriate for the weather conditions. Dogs are not permitted.
Course and logistics
The route is a circular tour of Humbleton Hill, starting and finishing at the Cheviot Centre. The route climbs steadily up to the base of Humbleton Hill, then turns northwards to reach the St Cuthberts Way, and returns via a downhill section back to the base and to the Cheviot Centre.
Distance and climbing are given as 5 miles with 800 ft of elevation. Fell or trail shoes are recommended. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
