Run Northumberland Rothbury Winter 10k - Rothbury, 27 December 2026
Run Northumberland Rothbury Winter is a road race held on 27 December 2026 over a certified and measured 10 km course. The route starts at the Middle School, with the first mile downhill, follows Whitton Bank Road to join Carterside Road and runs out and back, turning before Little Tosson and finishing at Riverside Park.
The course is undulating and run on road surfaces. It is traffic free under marshal control and chip timed, with timing provided by Timing4Sport. Distance markers appear every kilometre and there is a water station at 5 km.
Event facilities include a race headquarters at the finish on Riverside Park, registration on Silverton Lane, bag drop at the finish line, toilets near registration and the finish on Bridge Street, first aid, parking, changing facilities and refreshments.
Entry is limited to 300 runners. Minimum age is 15. Entry fees are shown as £23.00 for affiliated runners and £25.00 for unaffiliated runners. Entries close on 26 December 2026.
Prizes include a finisher medal, vouchers for the first three male and female overall finishers, veteran prizes for first in each veteran age group subject to minimum numbers, and team prizes with club vest and team size conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
