Run Northumberland Rothbury Winter 10k 2026
The event is a certified, measured road race over 10K held in Rothbury on 27 December 2026. The course is chip timed and described as undulating, with the route starting at the Middle School. The first mile is downhill, then the route follows Whitton Bank Road to join Carterside Road on an out and back section that turns before Little Tosson and finishes at Riverside Park.
Race facilities and logistics include a race HQ at the finish in Riverside Park and registration on Silverton Lane, with bag drop available at the finish. The surface is road, the route is traffic free under marshal control, and distance markers are provided every kilometre. There is a water station at 5 km and toilets near registration and the finish.
Entries are limited to 300 and the minimum competing age is 15. Entry fees start from £23 for affiliated runners and £25 for unaffiliated runners, with entries closing on 26 December 2026. All finishers receive a medal.
Prizes include vouchers for the top three men and women overall (£50, £30, £20) and age group vouchers for veteran winners, subject to minimum entry thresholds.
