Tommy Runs 2026
Tommy Runs takes place along the Seaham seafront and is set around the Tommy War Memorial Statue, officially titled 1101 (Eleven O One). A one minute silence will be observed before each race. Routes combine road, promenade and coastal trails.
The event offers two timed running distances:
- 5 km Run - Age 11+; closed roads; 80 ft elevation
- 10 km Run - Age 15+; scenic seafront course on mixed terrain
Chip timing is provided and results are available instantly. A 90 minute cut off applies because of road closures. The event is for runners only and is not suitable for walkers. This event is not Canicross friendly and no dogs are allowed.
All finishers will receive an event medal, an event T shirt, and a snack. The location is Tommy Statue, North Terrace, Seaham, SR7 7EU. Public car parking is available in Seaham.
