About the race
The Tommy Runs return to Seaham, County Durham, centered at the Tommy War Memorial statue on North Terrace. The event offers 5km and 10km options, with routes along the sea-front featuring a mix of road, promenade, and some trail sections. The 5km route is on closed roads with only 80 feet of elevation, making it a fast option for a PB, while the 10km challenges more.
A 1-minute silence precedes each race, honoring the memorial theme. Timed with live chip timing, finishers receive a medal, T-shirt, snack and drink. Ages apply (11+ for 5km, 15+ for 10km).
