The Tommy Run

The Tommy Run is a popular running event scheduled for November 2, 2025, taking place along the scenic seafront of Seaham, County Durham. Participants can choose between a 5km and a 10km run, both starting at the Tommy War Memorial statue, which honors First World War soldiers. The event features a one-minute silence before the races and offers live chip-timing for accurate results.

All finishers will receive a medal, T-shirt, snack, and drink. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the Royal British Legion and Help for Heroes, supporting veterans and their families. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
