The Thankful 13.1 Half Marathon
The Thankful 13.1 is a half marathon held in Prospect Park in Brooklyn on Sunday November 15, 2027. The course begins on Center Drive and follows a short westward section onto West Drive, then continues with one loop of the park’s northern section followed by three counterclockwise loops of the park’s outer ring. Runners finish back on Center Drive where medals are awarded.
Water stations are placed at approximately every 1.5 miles along the course. Course marshals will be present to help direct participants on the multiloop route. Bib pickup is held on race day only, with baggage check located adjacent to bib pickup.
The event area for start, finish, registration and post-race activities is on Center Drive near the 16th Street and Prospect Park Southwest entrance. On-street parking is available on Prospect Park Southwest and Park Side Avenue. Public transit options mentioned include the B and Q trains to the Prospect Park stop and the F and G trains to 15th Street and Prospect Park, both followed by a short walk to the park.
