The Texas Double

Event overview
The Texas Double takes place Saturday 20 December to Sunday 21 December 2025 at Bachman Lake Pavilion, 3500 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75220. The event offers single-day and two-day options in three distances:
- 13.1 miles
- 26.2 miles
- 50K
Entries include one series shirt and a medal for each race completed, plus a finisher medal for the series. Registration must be completed 30 days in advance to guarantee a shirt; online registration is open until noon the day before each race. There are no refunds or transfers. The event is USATF sanctioned; course certification may be affected by construction.
Course and logistics
The course begins with a short out-and-back, then follows a roughly 3-mile loop run counterclockwise around the lake. The half uses 4 loops and the full uses 8 loops. Surfaces are concrete and asphalt, with a small climb near the bridge and at the start/finish on each loop. Timing is officially scored by gun time. Aid stations are located about every 3 miles and are stocked with sports drink, water, pretzels, bananas and other items. Bathrooms are available at the start/finish and at several points around the lake. Packet pickup is scheduled 12/19/25 at Embassy Suites, 3880 W Northwest Hwy, and at the race site on 12/20/25; race-day pickup availability has an early-arrival restriction.
