The Telford T50 Trail Run
The Telford T50 is a 50 miles trail event organised by How Hard Can It Be Events with Race HQ at The Unicorn Inn, Holly Road, Little Dawley, Telford TF4 3HZ. The route follows a pre marked path around Shropshire and passes notable locations such as Ironbridge and the Wrekin, as well as former industrial areas, offering varied trails and climbs and wide views in places.
There are four checkpoints on the course that provide food, drinks and cake. Mandatory kit for the event includes a waterproof jacket, a rucksack with a bladder, a fully charged mobile phone, an energy bar, a basic first aid kit and a £20 note for bribes. Trail shoes are recommended. The event has a cut off time of 9PM.
