The Telford T50 Trail Run
The event presents a new 2027 routing of the Telford T50 pathway that passes notable local sites including Ironbridge, the heights of the Wrekin and former industrial areas. The route is described as a trip through local history and is offered as a long trail distance of 50 Miles.
Race headquarters is at The Unicorn Inn, Holly Road, Little Dawley, Telford TF4 3HZ. The route is pre marked around the Shropshire area. Organizers list a cut off time of 9PM. Trail shoes are recommended for the terrain.
There will be four checkpoints on course providing food, drinks and cake. Organizers plan to produce a larger event medal than in previous years. Entry is offered at a listed price of £70.
The event has a mandatory kit list. Required items include a waterproof jacket, a rucksack with a bladder, a fully charged mobile phone, an energy bar, a basic first aid kit and a £20 note stated for bribes.
