The Telford T50 Trail Run
The event is a 50 mile trail run presented as the May edition with a revised 2026 route. The course follows the Telford T50 pathway and passes notable local features including Ironbridge, the Wrekin and former industrial areas. The route is pre marked around Shropshire and offers varied views.
There are four checkpoints on course that provide food, drinks and cake. Organizers plan to award their largest medal to date. Trail shoes are recommended for the terrain.
Mandatory kit listed by the organisers includes a waterproof jacket, a rucksack with bladder, a fully charged mobile phone, an energy bar, a basic first aid kit and a £20 note. The event has a cut off time of 9PM. Race headquarters are at The Unicorn Inn, Holly Road, Little Dawley, Telford TF4 3HZ.
