The Team Hoyt Memorial

The Team Hoyt Memorial is a day of running and walking at EMC Park in Hopkinton, MA on 04/10/2027. The program honors the first race Team Hoyt ran together and highlights the Team Hoyt "Yes You Can" statue near Hopkinton Common.

Events include:

• 5 miles – Team Hoyt Taper run with Hoytbreak Hill, passes the "Yes You Can" statue
• 2 miles – Team Hoyt Two Step walk to the "Yes You Can" statue and back

The five mile course is timed to match the taper week before the Boston Marathon and includes a hill called Hoytbreak Hill. The walk follows a short route from Marathon Elementary School to the statue and returns to EMC Park, where food and a beer garden are provided. Registration opened in July 2026 and closes in April 2027. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $35 for the 5 mile run, $30 for the 2 mile walk, $10 for the kids run, and volunteering has no fee.
