About the race
Leftover Turkey Trot is a running event on November 29, 2026, with start and finish at North Attleboro Town Hall, 43 South Washington Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760. The course begins on a flat straightaway, moves to rolling hills on residential streets, and finishes on a straightaway through downtown North Attleboro.
The event distance is 3.1 miles for the 5k Run/Walk/Stroll/Roll. Participant check-in is available on Saturday, November 28, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and on Sunday, November 29, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Registration opens August 24, 2026, and closes October 15, 2026. Standard registration is $25; the price increases to $35 on October 16. The event cannot accept cash on the day of the event.
The first 500 participants receive a bib, a T-shirt, and a finisher’s medal. Awards include unique medals for the top three women and top three men, plus top men and women in seven age categories. Participants are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy.
Proceeds benefit North Attleboro VFW Post #443, which will assist in erecting a Doughboy statue in Barrows Park to honor veterans of the First World War. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
