The Teal Run

The Teal Run is an annual fundraising event at Campbell Park along the Los Gatos Creek Trail. The day features a timed 5K and a Kids Fun Run and includes a survivor ceremony, health and wellness booths, art, a photo booth, a bubble show, and a post-run shave ice treat.

The event raises funds for ovarian cancer research and for support services for women and families affected by an ovarian cancer diagnosis. Participants receive a tee shirt, a finisher’s medal, and entry into a raffle for prizes. Since its founding, the event has brought together thousands of participants and has raised in excess of $730,000 for the event and related ovarian cancer research and support services. The Teal Run is described as the only Bay Area running event dedicated to ovarian cancer awareness and support.
