The Teal Run at Campbell Park
The Teal Run is an annual community running event held at Campbell Park along the Los Gatos Creek Trail. Organized by The Teal Foundation, the event raises funds for ovarian cancer research and for support services for women and families affected by an ovarian cancer diagnosis. The event began in 2015 and has since brought together thousands of participants who have raised funds for research and support; more than 4,500 participants have helped raise over $730,000.
The event format includes a timed 5K and a separate kids fun run, with options for running, walking, and strolling. The day features a survivor ceremony and a variety of on-site activities and booths, including health and wellness displays, art, a photo booth, a bubble show, and a post-run shave ice treat. Every participant receives a finisher’s medal, and attendees are entered into a raffle for donated prizes.
The Teal Run is presented as a local event focused on awareness, community support, and fundraising. It is described as the only Bay Area running event dedicated specifically to ovarian cancer awareness and related support services. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
